Jimmy’s Cue

Jimmy gave me full artistic license with two exceptions: a laser engraved oriental dragon on the forearm and a stacked leather wrap. I was experimenting with some different ring patterns at the time and I wanted to try my hand at windowed points. So began the tedium of carving parts as close to perfect as my patience would allow.

The result is this ebony point cue with small walnut butterflies and accented with wide cherry veneer outlined in black dyed ash and white maple. The ringwork is ebony and maple with tigerwood accents that match the walnut butterflies.
